I love to walk and hike. I enjoy the outdoors and had a wonderful career with the US Fish and Wildlife Service where I had lots of opportunities to enjoy nature.

I write about people who have a killer passion for wildlife and wild places.

  I have a great love for the beauty and mystery of wild places, and I incorporate that into my writing as I intertwine murder plots with the fantastic biological world that surrounds us.
